Archos 704

Got a Archos 704 for my birthday in 2007 it's a neat little Divx/Mp3 player with 9" of screen real-estate, Wi-Fi 802.11g capable and running Linux under the hood.

My unit came with the v1.7.16 firmware which is easily upgraded to v1.7.20 by just dumping the firmware file to the root of the Archos's drive.

It's somewhat of a dissapointment to note that the device does _not_ charge via the USB cable, you HAVE to use a AC (or Car) adapter).
